Abstract
(EN) An example method for measuring deformability of a cell via a pressure field, consistent with the present disclosure, includes flowing a biologic sample containing a plurality of cells along a first fluidic channel and into an intersection between the first fluidic channel and a second fluidic channel of a microfluidic device. The method includes introducing a pressure field at the intersection and into the first fluidic channel via the second fluidic channel and a plurality of apertures in a channel wall disposed in the intersection. The method further includes measuring deformability of a cell among the plurality of cells responsive to the introduction of the pressure field.
(FR) Un procédé donné à titre d'exemple pour mesurer la déformabilité d'une cellule à l'aide d'un champ de pression, selon la présente divulgation, consiste à faire s'écouler un échantillon biologique contenant une pluralité de cellules le long d'un premier conduit fluidique et jusque dans une intersection entre le premier conduit fluidique et un second conduit fluidique d'un dispositif microfluidique. Le procédé consiste également à introduire un champ de pression au niveau de l'intersection et jusque dans le premier conduit fluidique par l'intermédiaire du second conduit fluidique et d'une pluralité d'ouvertures dans une paroi de conduit disposée dans l'intersection. Le procédé consiste en outre à mesurer la déformabilité d'une cellule parmi la pluralité de cellules en réponse à l'introduction du champ de pression.
