Abstract
(EN) The disclosure relates to methods and systems for manipulating a particle, in particular for studying small particles and/or biological cellular bodies. A disclosed method comprises the steps of: providing a sample holder (3) comprising a holding space (5) for holding a sample comprising a particle (9) in a fluid medium (11); providing a driving signal, having a signal frequency, a signal amplitude and a signal power, to the sample holder generating an acoustic wave in the sample holder (3) for applying an acoustic force to the particle (9), the wave having a frequency; determining an acoustic resonance frequency of the sample holder and determining a quality factor for the sample holder with respect to the resonance frequency. An associated system (1) is also disclosed.
(FR) La divulgation se rapporte à des procédés et des systèmes destinés à la manipulation d'une particule, en particulier pour l'étude de petites particules et/ou de corps cellulaires biologiques. Un procédé divulgué comprend les étapes consistant à : fournir un porte-échantillon (3) comprenant un espace de maintien (5) destiné au maintien d'un échantillon comprenant une particule (9) dans un milieu fluide (11) ; fournir un signal de commande, ayant une fréquence de signal, une amplitude de signal et une puissance de signal, au porte-échantillon générant une onde acoustique dans le porte-échantillon (3) pour appliquer une force acoustique à la particule (9), l'onde ayant une fréquence ; déterminer une fréquence de résonance acoustique du porte-échantillon et déterminer un facteur de qualité pour le porte-échantillon par rapport à la fréquence de résonance. La divulgation se rapporte également à un système associé (1).
