Abstract
(EN) An electronic device according to various embodiments comprises a memory, a communication module, and a processor operably connected to the memory and the communication module, wherein, if a lock state of the electronic device and a first state of the electronic device are checked when first user’s speech requesting a task that can be performed in an unlocked state of the electronic device is acquired, the processor can be configured to change an unlock type having been set in the electronic device into an unlock type of an external device on the basis of first information about the external device that is communicatively connected to the electronic device by using the communication module, and release the locked state of the electronic device having been set to the unlock type of the external device, on the basis of user authentication information acquired from the external device, and then perform a task corresponding to the first user’s speech. Other various embodiments can be provided. An authentication operation of the electronic device can be performed using an artificial intelligence model.
