Abstract
(EN) A first member (110) of this automotive structural member (1) comprises: a flange part (111); a first-member ridge line part (112) which is contiguous to the flange part (111); a protrusion part (113) which is contiguous to the first-member ridge line part (112) and which has a top surface (113a) that is situated at the same level (L) as a top surface (111a) of the flange part (111); and a recess part (114) which located adjacent to the protrusion part (113). A second member (120) comprises: a second-member ridge line part (121) which has a top surface (121a) that lies along an under surface (112b) of the first-member ridge line part (112) so as to abut the under surface (112b); a vertical wall (122) which is contiguous to the second-member ridge line part (121); and a bottom wall (123) which is contiguous to the vertical wall (122). A stiffening member (200) supports the recess part (114).
