Abstract
(EN) The purpose of the present invention is to achieve a camera system which can stably acquire suitable images having corrected distortion, and the like. This camera system 1 manufacturing method is for manufacturing a camera system 1 provided with a camera which is mounted on a vehicle and which acquires images of the periphery of the vehicle, a transparent cover 103 which covers the front of the camera, and a regulating member which is provided on the front of the camera and which switches between transmitting and blocking light incident on the camera. The camera system 1 manufacturing method comprises a step (S205) for attaching the cover 103 to the front of the camera, a step (S202) for performing calibration to correct distortion of images obtained by the camera with the cover 103 attached, and a step (S204) for attaching, to the vehicle, the camera and cover 103 for which calibration was performed.
