Abstract
(EN) A system and method are described for post-processing a 3D printed component. For example, support structures for the 3D printed component may be removed during post-processing. ln the system and method, a marker is placed on the 3D printed component or on a support structure attached to the 3D printed component. The marker may be printed while the 3D printed component and the support structures are printed by a 3D printer. After printing, the marker may then be sensed to determine one or more cutting paths between the 3D printed component and the support structures. The 3D printed component may then be autonomously separated from the support structures by cutting through the cutting path.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un système et un procédé destinés au post-traitement d'un composant imprimé en 3D. Par exemple, des structures de support pour le composant imprimé en 3D peuvent être déplacées pendant le post-traitement. Dans le système et le procédé, un marqueur est placé sur le composant imprimé en 3D ou sur une structure de support fixée au composant imprimé en 3D. Le marqueur peut être imprimé tandis que le composant imprimé en 3D et les structures de support sont imprimés par une imprimante 3D. Après l'impression, le marqueur peut ensuite être détecté pour déterminer un ou plusieurs trajets de coupe entre les composants imprimés en 3D et les structures de support. Le composant imprimé en 3D peut ensuite être séparé de façon autonome des structures de support par découpe à travers le trajet de coupe.
