Abstract
(EN) The present invention relates to a covering (10) for a body part of a patient. The covering (10) comprising a plurality of transparent semi rigid sheet segments (14), a fastener (20) for connecting the plurality of sheet segments (14) together such that the sheet segments (14) support each other to form a self-supporting structure (12). The self-supporting structure (12) being suitable for covering the body part of a patient, thereby protecting medical professionals from harmful fluids or aerosols emanating from the patient.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un élément de recouvrement (10) pour une partie du corps d'un patient. L'élément de recouvrement (10) comporte une pluralité de segments formant feuille semi-rigides transparents (14), un élément de fixation (20) pour relier la pluralité de segments formant feuille (14) ensemble de telle sorte que les segments formant feuille (14) se soutiennent mutuellement pour former une structure autoportante (12). La structure autoportante (12) est appropriée pour recouvrir la partie du corps d'un patient, protégeant ainsi des professionnels de santé contre des fluides ou des aérosols nocifs émanant du patient.
