Abstract
(EN) A method for detecting and quantifying gas emissions from an infrared image comprises obtaining an infrared image from an overhead image acquisition device, the overhead image acquisition device comprising an infrared sensor, determining an amount of variation in infrared light intensity within the infrared image, and correlating the amount of variation in infrared light intensity within the infrared image to a gas concentration of a gas emission located in an area of interest depicted in the infrared image.
(FR) Procédé de détection et de quantification d'émissions de gaz à partir d'une image infrarouge consistant à obtenir une image infrarouge en provenance d'un dispositif d'acquisition d'image aérienne, le dispositif d'acquisition d'image aérienne comprenant un capteur infrarouge, à déterminer une quantité de variation de l'intensité de la lumière infrarouge à l'intérieur de l'image infrarouge, et à corréler la quantité de variation de l'intensité de lumière infrarouge à l'intérieur de l'image infrarouge à une concentration de gaz d'une émission de gaz située dans une zone d'intérêt représentée dans l'image infrarouge.
