Abstract
(EN) The invention relates to a porous material comprising alumina, said alumina comprising alpha-alumina, said porous material comprising one or more metals selected from Co, Mo, Ni, W and combinations thereof, and said porous material having a BET-surface area of 1-110 m2/g, a total pore volume of 0.50-0.80 ml/g, as measured by mercury intrusion porosimetry, and a pore size distribution (PSD) with at least 30 vol% of the total pore volume being in pores with a radius ≥ 400 Å, suitably pores with a radius ≥ 500 Å, such as pores with a radius up to 5000 Å. The invention relates also to a process for removing impurities such as phosphorous (P) from a feedstock such as a renewable feed, by contacting said feedstock with a guard bed comprising the above porous material. The invention further relates to a guard bed for a hydrotreatment system comprising the porous material, a hydrotreatment system comprising a guard bed which comprises the porous material and a downstream hydrotreatment section comprising at least one hydrotreatment catalyst, as well as to the use of the porous material as a phosphorus guard in a hydrotreatment process.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un matériau poreux comprenant de l'alumine, ladite alumine comprenant de l'alpha-alumine, ledit matériau poreux comprenant un ou plusieurs métaux choisis parmi Co, Mo, Ni, W et des combinaisons de ceux-ci, et ledit matériau poreux présentant une surface spécifique de 1 à 110 m2/g, un volume total de pores de 0,50 à 0,80 mL/g, tel que mesuré par porosimétrie par intrusion de mercure, et une répartition des rayons de pores (PSD) avec au moins 30 % en volume du volume total de pores représentant des pores ayant un rayon ≥ 400 Å, de manière appropriée des pores ayant un rayon ≥ 500 Å, tels que des pores ayant un rayon allant jusqu'à 5 000 Å. L'invention concerne également un procédé destiné à éliminer des impuretés telles que du phosphore (P) à partir d'une charge d'alimentation telle qu'une charge renouvelable, par mise en contact de ladite charge d'alimentation avec un lit de protection comprenant le matériau poreux ci-dessus. L'invention concerne en outre un lit de protection pour un système d'hydrotraitement comprenant le matériau poreux, un système d'hydrotraitement comprenant un lit de protection qui comprend le matériau poreux et une section d'hydrotraitement en aval comprenant au moins un catalyseur d'hydrotraitement, ainsi que l'utilisation du matériau poreux comme protection contre le phosphore dans un procédé d'hydrotraitement.
