(EN) The invention relates to a battery (10) for a motor vehicle, having a battery housing (12) which is designed to accommodate at least one battery cell and has at least one first side part (18), one second side part (20) at a distance from the first side part (18) and one cover part (22) extending between the first side part (18) and the second side part (20), wherein the cover part (22) and the side parts (18, 20) are arranged parallel to a longitudinal direction (16) of the battery (10), and having a cooling duct device (14) which is mounted on the battery housing (12) at least in sections.
