Abstract
(EN) The present application relates to a process for cracking a hydrocarbon feedstock, using to the largest extent electrically powered equipment where the power is obtained from renewable sources or low-carbon sources. In particular, it relates to a furnace for steam cracking a hydrocarbon feedstock, wherein the furnace comprises one or more tubes for transporting the hydrocarbon feedstock and dilution steam; and an electrically heated infrared emitter for transferring heat to the tubes. It also relates to a process for steam cracking a hydrocarbon feedstock using infrared radiation.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un procédé de craquage d'une charge d'alimentation hydrocarbonée, à l'aide de l'équipement alimenté électriquement dans la plus grande mesure où l'énergie est obtenue à partir de sources renouvelables ou de sources à faible teneur en carbone. En particulier, l'invention concerne un four destiné au vapocraquage d'une charge d'hydrocarbures. Le four comprend un ou plusieurs tubes pour transporter la charge d'hydrocarbures et la vapeur de dilution ; et un émetteur infrarouge chauffé électriquement pour transférer de la chaleur vers les tubes. L'invention concerne également un procédé de vapocraquage d'une charge d'hydrocarbures à l'aide d'un rayonnement infrarouge.
