Abstract
(EN) A process for hydrotreating a renewable feedstock with improved carbon monoxide management is disclosed. A mixture of renewable feedstock and hydrocarbon feedstock is treated in a hydrotreating reactor to produce a hydrotreated effluent stream and contacting the hydrotreated effluent stream with a water gas shift catalyst bed to produce a shift reactor effluent stream. The shift reactor effluent stream is passed to a cold separator to recover a cold vapor stream and recycling the cold vapor stream having reduced concentration of carbon monoxide to the hydrotreating zone. The subject matter disclosed provides an improved process and apparatus to reduce the accumulation of CO by converting CO present in the hydrotreated effluent stream to CO2 using the water shift gas reaction.
(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé d'hydrotraitement d'une charge d'alimentation renouvelable avec une meilleure gestion du monoxyde de carbone. Un mélange de charge d'alimentation renouvelable et de charge d'hydrocarbures est traité dans un réacteur d'hydrotraitement pour produire un courant d'effluent hydrotraité et en mettant en contact le courant d'effluent hydrotraité avec un lit de catalyseur de conversion catalytique pour produire un courant d'effluent de réacteur de conversion. Le courant d'effluent de réacteur de conversion est envoyé vers un séparateur froid pour récupérer un courant de vapeur froide et recycler le courant de vapeur froide ayant une concentration réduite de monoxyde de carbone vers la zone d'hydrotraitement. L'invention concerne un procédé et un appareil améliorés pour réduire l'accumulation de CO par conversion du CO présent dans le courant d'effluent hydrotraité en CO2 à l'aide de la réaction de gaz de conversion catalytique.
