Abstract
(EN) The present invention provides solvent-based compostable cold seal release lacquers for use in packaging structures. The lacquers of the invention comprise resins, such as polyamide resins, comprising greater than 90% biobased carbon, generally prepared from renewable sources, e.g., plants such as rice. The present invention also provides the use of the inventive compostable lacquers as cold seal release lacquers in cold seal packaging, along with eco-friendly packaging film, etc., and has the potential to make the cold seal packaging fully compostable.
(FR) La présente invention concerne des laques antiadhésives à froid compostables à base de solvant pour utilisation dans des structures d’emballage. Les laques selon l’invention comprennent des résines, telles que des résines de polyamide, comprenant plus de 90 % de carbone d’origine biologique, généralement préparées à partir de sources renouvelables, par exemple de plantes telles que le riz. La présente invention concerne en outre l’utilisation des laques compostables de l’invention en tant que laques antiadhésives à froid dans un emballage de scellage à froid, conjointement avec un film d’emballage écologique, etc., et présente un potentiel pour rendre l’emballage de scellage à froid entièrement compostable.
