Abstract
(EN) In one aspect, a method and system for detecting a change in fluid dynamics of a fluid flowing through an extra-corporeal circuit is disclosed, which includes establishing an acoustic wave resonance across a transverse dimension of at least a portion of a line associated with the extra-corporeal circuit through which the fluid flows, monitoring a phase signal of the resonant acoustic wave, and identifying occurrence of a change in fluid dynamics of the flowing fluid when the observed phase signal of the resonant acoustic wave indicates a deviation from the expected fluid flow signature. The change in fluid dynamics can be used to indicate a venous needle dislodgement event.
(FR) Selon un aspect, l'invention concerne un procédé et un système pour la détection d'une variation dans une dynamique de fluide d'un fluide circulant à travers un circuit extracorporel, qui consiste à établir une résonance d'onde acoustique à travers une dimension transversale d'au moins une partie d'un conduit associé au circuit extracorporel à travers lequel le fluide circule, surveiller un signal de phase de l'onde acoustique résonante et identifier l'apparition d'une variation dans une dynamique de fluide du fluide en circulation lorsque le signal de phase observé de l'onde acoustique résonante indique un écart par rapport à la signature de circulation de fluide attendue. La variation dans une dynamique de fluide peut être utilisée pour indiquer un événement de délogement d'aiguille veineuse.
