Abstract
(EN) A method of wireless communication, by a first sidelink user equipment (UE), includes periodically receiving a set of sidelink beam failure detection reference signals (RSs) from a second sidelink UE. The method includes incrementing a beam failure detection (BFD) counter in response to one or more reference signals of the set of sidelink beam failure detection RSs having a received signal strength below a threshold. The first sidelink UE starts a beam failure detection timer in response to the reference signal(s) of the set of sidelink beam failure detection reference signals having the received signal strength below the threshold. Another method by a sidelink UE may periodically transmit a set of sidelink BFD RSs to another sidelink UE. The set of sidelink BFD RSs comprise one or more sidelink receive RSs. The sidelink UE configures the other sidelink UE with the sidelink receive BFD RSs.
(FR) Un procédé de communication sans fil, au moyen d'un premier équipement utilisateur (UE) de liaison latérale, comprend les étapes consistant à : recevoir périodiquement un ensemble de signaux de référence (RS) de détections de défaillances de faisceaux de liaison latérale provenant d'un second UE de liaison latérale ; et lorsqu'un ou plusieurs signaux de référence de l'ensemble de RS de détections de défaillances de faisceaux de liaison latérale présentent une intensité de signal reçu inférieure à un seuil, incrémenter un compteur de détections de défaillances de faisceaux (BFD). Lorsque lesdits un ou plusieurs signaux de référence de l'ensemble de signaux de référence de détections de défaillances de faisceaux de liaison latérale présentent l'intensité de signal reçu inférieure au seuil, le premier UE de liaison latérale lance un temporisateur de détection de défaillance de faisceau. Un autre procédé exécuté par un UE de liaison latérale peut transmettre périodiquement un ensemble de RS de BFD de liaison latérale à un autre UE de liaison latérale. L'ensemble de RS de BFD de liaison latérale contient un ou plusieurs RS de réception de liaison latérale. L'UE de liaison latérale configure l'autre UE de liaison latérale avec les RS de BFD de réception de liaison latérale.
