Abstract
(EN) A sequence of two or more consecutive DDMs is received. The sequence is calculated over two or more corresponding times from a digital DLOS IF signal, a digital reflected IF signal and known locations of one or more antennas of a receiver, a transmitter, and a specular point (SP). The sequence can be received in real-time or some time after acquisition. A feature vector (x) is calculated that includes two or more wind direction-dependent features of the digital reflected IF signal using the sequence of DDMs. A wind direction ϕ is calculated at the SP from the calculated x and a machine learning model (f(x)) that relates x to ϕ (ϕ = f(x)). The machine learning model f(x) is trained using one or more sets of previously measured data that include measured ϕ values for corresponding sequences of calculated DDMs used to calculate corresponding x values.
(FR) Une séquence d'au moins deux DDM consécutives est reçue. La séquence est calculée sur deux temps correspondants ou plus à partir d'un signal DLOS IF numérique, un signal IF numérique réfléchi et des emplacements connus d'une ou de plusieurs antennes d'un récepteur, d'un émetteur et d'un point spéculaire (SP). La séquence peut être reçue en temps réel ou dans un certain temps après l'acquisition. Un vecteur de caractéristiques (x) est calculé lequel comprend au moins deux caractéristiques dépendant de la direction du vent du signal IF numérique réfléchi à l'aide de la séquence de DDMs. Une direction du vent ᶲ est calculée au point spéculaire SP à partir de x calculé et d'un modèle d'apprentissage machine (f(x)) qui lie x à ᶲ ( ᶲ = f(x). Le modèle d'apprentissage machine f (x) est entraîné à l'aide d'un ou de plusieurs ensembles de données précédemment mesurées qui comprennent des valeurs de ᶲ mesurées pour des séquences correspondantes de DDM calculées utilisées pour calculer des valeurs correspondantes x.
