Abstract
(EN) The present invention refers to processes of obtaining lithium (Li) from primary media (A) by means of incorporation media (B), including a step of decomposition at a high temperature of said incorporation media, so as to obtain delivery media (C) presenting concentrations of lithium that are higher than those present in the primary media (A). In particular, the present invention refers to the use of certain types of marine macroalgae as incorporation media (B), notably Ulva intestinalis and Ulva lactuca, as a source for obtaining Li. These macroalgae can be kept in a processing recipient in a bath with a primary medium (A), and subjected thereafter to decomposition at a high temperature, for example by burning and/or pyrolysis, obtaining a Li-enriched solid. The present invention herewith constitutes an alternative way of obtaining Li instead of the extraction thereof by mining or from brine.
(FR) La présente invention concerne des procédés d'obtention de lithium (Li) à partir de milieux primaires (A) à l'aide de milieux d'incorporation (B), y compris une étape de décomposition à haute température de celui-ci, de manière à obtenir des milieux d'apport (C) présentant des concentrations en lithium plus élevées que celles présentes dans les milieux primaires (A). Plus particulièrement, la présente invention concerne l'utilisation de types déterminés de macro-algues marines comme milieux d'incorporation (B), notamment Ulva intestinalis et Ulva lactuca, servant de source pour l'obtention de Li. Ces macro-algues peuvent être d'abord maintenues dans un récipient de traitement en bain avec milieu primaire (A), puis soumises à une décomposition à haute température, par exemple brûlées et/ou pyrolysées, d'où l'obtention d'un solide enrichi en Li. La présente invention constitue ainsi une source alternative pour l'obtention de Li en remplacement de son extraction minière ou de saumures.
(PT) A presente invenção diz respeito a processos de obtenção de Lítio (Li) a partir de meios primários (A) através de meios de incorporação (B), incluindo um passo de decomposição a alta temperatura deste, de modo a obter meios de entrega (C) apresentando concentrações de Lítio mais elevadas que as presentes nos meios primários (A). Em particular, a presente invenção diz respeito ao uso de determinados tipos de macroalgas marinhas enquanto meios de incorporação (B), nomeadamente Ulva intestinalis e Ulva lactuca como fonte para a obtenção de Li. Estas macroalgas podem ser primeiro mantidas num recipiente de processamento em banho com meio primário (A), e ser depois submetidas a decomposição a alta temperatura, por exemplo queimadas e/ou pirolisadas, obtendo-se um sólido enriquecido em Li. A presente invenção constitui deste modo uma fonte alternativa para obtenção de Li em substituição à sua extração mineira ou de salmouras.
