Abstract
(EN) Anticancer activity of phenylpropanoid disaccharide esters isolated from the rhizome of giant knotweed is disclosed. These compounds are known as vanicoside A and vanicoside B, and according to the invention are suitable for the treatment or prophylaxis of cancer, especially melanoma.
(FR) L'invention concerne l'activité anticancéreuse d'esters de disaccharides phénylpropanoïdes isolés à partir du rhizome de renouée de Sakhaline. Ces composés sont connus sous le nom de vanicoside A et de vanicoside B, et selon l'invention, sont appropriés pour le traitement ou la prophylaxie du cancer, en particulier du mélanome.
