Abstract
(EN) A charging system 1 is provided with one or a plurality of charging stations 10, and a higher-level unit 16 capable of communicating with the charging stations 10, wherein: each charging station 10 includes a plurality of chargers 30 capable of charging a battery 20 installed in a vehicle 12, and a charging control unit 42 for controlling the charging by the chargers 30 in accordance with a charging schedule; the higher-level unit 16 includes a schedule management unit 70 for creating the charging schedule; and the schedule management unit 70 creates the charging schedule in such a way that at least a portion of a future charging power amount that was planned to be allocated to a vehicle 12 currently being charged is reduced and is allocated to charging for a vehicle 12 requesting an early charging start.
