Abstract
(EN) Provided is a rotary encoder that has a function for responding to battery loss, has high performance, and is compact and inexpensive. This rotary encoder comprises an MR sensor unit, a battery loss response unit that generates power and stores information about the rotation angle of a rotary shaft to non-volatile memory when power from the main battery of a motor is lost, and an encoder output control unit for processing the output of the MR sensor unit and the output of the battery loss response unit according to preset conditions and outputting the result of the processing. The MR sensor unit comprises an MR sensor that is provided on a substrate at a position opposing a small flat magnet fixed to the rotary shaft. The battery loss response unit comprises an angle information processing unit and a large Barkhausen effect power generation module that is disposed on the substrate behind the MR sensor. The angle information processing unit has a function for generating and recording information relating to multiple rotations of the rotary shaft when the power is lost according to initially set conditions that include a recording period length.

Le codeur rotatif selon l'invention comprend une unité de capteur RM, une unité de réponse à une perte de batterie, destinée à générer une alimentation et à stocker des informations relatives à l'angle de rotation d'un arbre rotatif dans une mémoire non volatile lorsque l'alimentation provenant de la batterie principale d'un moteur est perdue, et une unité de commande de sortie de codeur, destinée à traiter la sortie de l'unité de capteur RM et la sortie de l'unité de réponse à une perte de batterie selon des conditions prédéfinies et à émettre en sortie le résultat du traitement. L'unité de capteur RM comprend un capteur RM disposé sur un substrat à un emplacement faisant face à un petit aimant plat fixé sur l'arbre rotatif.
