Abstract
(EN) The invention relates to a passenger restraint system (1) for roller coasters, designed to restrain a passenger (P) in an essentially seated or lying position with feet dangling. The passenger restraint system (1) comprises a fixed column (10) and a seat column (20) designed to support and hold the passenger (P), wherein the seat column (20) is coupled to the fixed column (10) so as to be movable in relation to the fixed column (10) during a roller coaster ride. The seat column (20) is preferably coupled to the fixed column (10) by means of an articulated connection (30) and the passenger restraint system (1) further comprises a balancing device (15) that balances the seat column (20), wherein the balancing device (15) is secured, at a first end (15A), to the fixed column (10) and, at a second end (15B), to the seat column (20).The balancing device (15) can advantageously be configured to provide a vertical displacement of the seat column (20) during roller coaster rides according to the vertical acceleration exerted on the passenger (P).
(FR) Il est notamment décrit un système de maintien de passager (1) pour montagnes russes conçu afin de maintenir un passager (P) en posture essentiellement assise ou couchée, pieds suspendus. Le système de maintien de passager (1) comprend une colonne fixe (10) et une colonne de siège (20) conçue pour soutenir et retenir le passager (P), laquelle colonne de siège (20) est couplée à la colonne fixe (10) de manière à être déplaçable par rapport à la colonne fixe (10) lors d'un parcours sur les montagnes russes. La colonne de siège (20) est préférablement couplée à la colonne fixe (10) au moyen d'une liaison articulée (30) et le système de maintien de passager (1) comporte en outre un dispositif d'équilibrage (15) assurant l'équilibrage de la colonne de siège (20), lequel dispositif d'équilibrage (15) est fixé, à une première extrémité (15A), à la colonne fixe (10) et, à une seconde extrémité (15B), à la colonne de siège (20).Le dispositif d'équilibrage (15) peut avantageusement être configuré pour assurer un débattement vertical de la colonne de siège (20) lors du parcours sur les montagnes russes en fonction de l'accélération verticale s'exerçant sur le passager (P).
