Abstract
(EN) A plug connection system that autonomously charges an electric vehicle (EV) is provided. The method includes: adjusting configuration settings of an image capturing device; capturing an image using the image capturing device, wherein a portion of the image comprises an optically distinctive object associated with a charging portal of the EV, and wherein the image comprises a plurality of pixels; applying a pixel value threshold associated with a pixel metric to the image to filter the plurality of pixels of the image to a first subset of pixels; determining, based on filtering the plurality of pixels to the first subset of pixels, a location of the optically distinctive object associated with the charging portal of the EV within the image; and providing information to maneuver a robotic arm to a physical position associated with the location of the optically distinctive object within the image.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un système de connexion enfichable qui charge de manière autonome un véhicule électrique (EV pour Electric Vehicle). Le procédé consiste : à régler des paramètres de configuration d'un dispositif de capture d'image ; à capturer une image à l'aide du dispositif de capture d'image, une partie de l'image comprenant un objet optiquement distinctif associé à un portail de charge du véhicule électrique et l'image comprenant une pluralité de pixels ; à appliquer un seuil de valeur de pixel associé à une métrique de pixel à l'image pour filtrer la pluralité de pixels de l'image vers un premier sous-ensemble de pixels ; à déterminer, sur la base du filtrage de la pluralité de pixels vers le premier sous-ensemble de pixels, un emplacement de l'objet optiquement distinctif associé au portail de charge du véhicule électrique à l'intérieur de l'image ; et à fournir des informations pour manœuvrer un bras robotique vers une position physique associée à l'emplacement de l'objet optiquement distinctif dans l'image.
