Abstract
(EN) A needle shield removal assembly for a drug delivery device is provided, comprising: a needle shield gripper configured to operatively engage a needle shield and to interlock with the needle shield, and a gripper holder, wherein the needle shield gripper is secured to the gripper holder via a connection interface established between the gripper holder and the needle shield gripper, wherein the connection interface is formed by at least one holder interface feature of the gripper holder engaging at least one gripper interface feature of the needle shield gripper, wherein the gripper holder has an opening, the opening being configured and dimensioned to receive the needle shield gripper and/or the needle shield, wherein the at least one holder interface feature is offset from the opening, wherein the gripper holder defines a receiving space within which the needle shield gripper is received, wherein the receiving space has an axial extension, particularly directed away from the opening, and wherein the needle shield gripper and the gripper holder are adjusted to one another to reduce or prevent mechanical contact of a) the gripper holder, in particular an inner surface thereof, and a bent or kinked region of the needle shield gripper and/or of b) the gripper holder, in particular an inner surface thereof, and an edge or corner of the needle shield gripper during insertion of the needle shield gripper into the receiving space via the opening in at least one sensitive region of the gripper holder which is angularly offset from the at least one holder interface feature. Additional embodiments of a needle shield removal assembly are disclosed as well. Further, a drug delivery device and a method are provided.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un ensemble de retrait de protection d'aiguille pour un dispositif d'administration de médicament, comprenant : une pince de protection d'aiguille configurée pour venir en prise fonctionnelle avec une protection d'aiguille et pour se verrouiller avec la protection d'aiguille, et un support de pince, la pince de protection d'aiguille étant fixée au support de pince par l'intermédiaire d'une interface de liaison établie entre le support de pince et la pince de protection d'aiguille, l'interface de liaison étant constituée par au moins un élément d'interface de support du support de pince entrant en prise avec au moins un élément d'interface de pince de la pince de protection d'aiguille, le support de pince ayant une ouverture, l'ouverture étant configurée et dimensionnée pour recevoir la pince de protection d'aiguille et/ou la protection d'aiguille, ledit élément d'interface de support étant décalé par rapport à l'ouverture, le support de pince formant un espace de réception à l'intérieur duquel la pince de protection d'aiguille est reçue, l'espace de réception ayant une extension axiale, en particulier orientée à l'opposé de l'ouverture, et la pince de protection d'aiguille et le support de pince étant ajustés l'une par rapport à l'autre pour réduire ou empêcher un contact mécanique entre a) le support de pince, en particulier une surface interne de celui-ci, et une zone coudée ou incurvée de la pince de protection d'aiguille et/ou b) le support de pince, en particulier une surface interne de celui-ci, et un bord ou un coin de la pince de protection d'aiguille lors de l'introduction de la pince de protection d'aiguille dans l'espace de réception par l'intermédiaire de l'ouverture dans au moins une région sensible du support de pince qui est angulairement décalée par rapport audit élément d'interface de support. La présente invention concerne également d'autres modes de réalisation d'un ensemble de retrait de protection d'aiguille. La présente invention concerne en outre un dispositif d'administration de médicament et un procédé.
