Abstract
(EN) Apparatus (1) for cooling fresh concrete, comprising a frame (2) surrounding an open section (21) through which the fresh concrete can flow and an injection structure attached to the frame (2) and extending inwardly therefrom the frame (2), the injection structure having at least one nozzle (4, 5) for discharge of a coolant into the fresh concrete flowing through the open section, each nozzle (4,5) being in fluid connection with a coolant inlet of the apparatus (1). A coolant such as liquid nitrogen or liquid carbon dioxide can be introduced into fresh concrete by means of the apparatus (1) in such a way that the coolant is enclosed by the fresh concrete. In this way, the fresh concrete can be cooled particularly efficiently without large amounts of the coolant being released into the environment and without the fresh concrete becoming so cold in places that damage to, for example, the mixer of a transport vehicle (8) can occur. The apparatus (1) can be used, in particular, during filling of the transport vehicle (8). A method for cooling fresh concrete using the apparatus described above is also claimed.
(FR) L'invention concerne un appareil (1) pour le refroidissement de béton frais, comprenant un cadre (2) entourant une section ouverte (21) à travers laquelle le béton frais peut s'écouler et une structure d'injection fixée au cadre (2) et s'étendant vers l'intérieur à partir du cadre (2), la structure d'injection présentant au moins une buse (4, 5) pour évacuer un agent de refroidissement dans le béton frais s'écoulant à travers la section ouverte, chaque buse (4, 5) étant en communication fluidique avec une entrée d'agent de refroidissement de l'appareil (1). Un agent de refroidissement tel que de l'azote liquide ou du dioxyde de carbone liquide peut être introduit dans du béton frais au moyen de l'appareil (1) de telle sorte que l'agent de refroidissement est entouré par le béton frais. De cette manière, le béton frais peut être refroidi de manière particulièrement efficace sans libération de grandes quantités d'agent de refroidissement dans l'environnement et sans refroidissement du béton frais en certains endroits à un niveau tel que des dommages, par exemple, au mélangeur d'un véhicule de transport (8) ne puissent survenir. L'appareil (1) peut être utilisé, en particulier, pendant le remplissage du véhicule de transport (8). L'invention concerne également un procédé de refroidissement de béton frais à l'aide de l'appareil décrit ci-dessus.
