Abstract
(EN) Provided is a secondary battery, comprising at least one battery cell assembly, which comprises a positive electrode plate, a negative electrode plate, and a diaphragm arranged between the positive electrode plate and the negative electrode plate, both of which comprise a current collector and an active material layer arranged on the current collector, wherein the diaphragm has an elongation greater than 100%; the elongation of the diaphragm includes the elongation in the length direction and/or the elongation in the width direction; the ratio of the elongation of the diaphragm to the thickness of the active material layer of the positive electrode plate and/or the negative electrode plate is 3.0%/μm to 8.0%/μm; and the ratio of the elongation of the diaphragm to the elongation of the current collector of the positive electrode plate and/or the negative electrode plate is greater than or equal to 60. According to the embodiments of the present application, the secondary battery has a high safety performance and has a high energy density. A terminal containing the secondary battery is further provided in the embodiments of the present application.
