Abstract
(EN) This disclosure describes methods and apparatus of supporting reliable multicast transmission in PTM mode. A new compact RLC entity for multicast radio bearer transmission is proposed to enable reliable multicast transmission with a compact protocol stack. The compact RLC entity at network side is responsible for both PTM transmission and PTP transmission. At UE side, a single protocol stack is proposed for the reception of both PTM transmission and PTP transmission.
(FR) La présente invention concerne des procédés et un appareil de prise en charge d'une transmission multidiffusion fiable en mode PTM. Une nouvelle entité RLC compacte pour la transmission de porteuse radio multidiffusion est proposée pour permettre une transmission multidiffusion fiable avec une pile de protocoles compacte. L'entité RLC compacte au niveau du côté réseau est responsable à la fois de la transmission PTM et de la transmission PTP. Au niveau du côté UE, une seule pile de protocoles est proposée pour la réception tant de la transmission PTM que de la transmission PTP.
