Abstract
(EN) A method to assess a subject diagnosis is provided. The method includes receiving an image from an image-capturing device, the image comprising an area of interest in a test cartridge, and finding a border of the area of interest of the test cartridge and applying a geometrical transformation on an area delimited by the border of the test cartridge to bring the image of the area of interest in the test cartridge to a selected size and a selected shape. The method also includes identifying a target region within the area of interest of the test cartridge, evaluating a quality of the image based on a characteristic feature of the target region, and providing commands to adjust an optical coupling in the image-capturing device when the quality of the image is lower than a selected threshold.
(FR) L'invention concerne une méthode pour évaluer le diagnostic d'un sujet. La méthode consiste à recevoir une image provenant d'un dispositif de capture d'image, l'image comprenant une zone d'intérêt dans une cartouche d'essai, et à trouver une limite de la zone d'intérêt de la cartouche d'essai et à appliquer une transformation géométrique sur une zone délimitée par la limite de la cartouche d'essai pour amener l'image de la zone d'intérêt dans la cartouche d'essai à une taille sélectionnée et une forme sélectionnée. La méthode consiste également à identifier une région cible à l'intérieur de la zone d'intérêt de la cartouche d'essai, à évaluer une qualité de l'image sur la base d'un trait caractéristique de la région cible, et à fournir des instructions pour ajuster un couplage optique dans le dispositif de capture d'image lorsque la qualité de l'image est inférieure à un seuil sélectionné.
