Abstract
(EN) Provided is an optical combiner capable of facilitating a fusion process between an optical component at an input side and an optical component at an output side. An optical combiner (40) is provided with an optical output unit (130) having a connection end surface (135) to which optical input units (110, 120) having cores (11, 21) are connected. The optical output unit (130) includes cores (31, 33) through which light propagates, and an outer clad layer (34) positioned outside the core (33). The optical input units (110, 120) are connected to the connection end surface (135) of the optical output unit (130) so as to optically couple the cores (11, 21) with the cores (31, 33) of the optical output unit (130). The outer diameter (D1) of the outer clad layer (34) on the connection end surface (135) of the optical output unit (130) is smaller than the diameter of a minimum inclusion circle (C1) including all clads (22) of the optical input units (120) on the connection end surface (135) of the optical output unit (130).
(FR) L'invention concerne un combinateur optique permettant de faciliter un processus de fusion entre un composant optique au niveau d'un côté d'entrée et un composant optique au niveau d'un côté de sortie. Un combinateur optique (40) est pourvu d'une unité de sortie optique (130) ayant une surface d'extrémité de connexion (135) à laquelle des unités d'entrée optique (110, 120) ayant des cœurs (11, 21) sont connectées. L'unité de sortie optique (130) comprend des cœurs (31, 33) à travers lesquels la lumière se propage et une couche de revêtement externe (34) positionnée à l'extérieur du cœur (33).
