Abstract
(EN) A surgical stapler includes a first stapler half including an anvil surface having a plurality of staple forming pockets, and a second stapler half configured to releasably couple with the first stapler half. The second stapler half is operable to deploy staples toward the anvil surface. The stapler also includes a projection positioned on one of the stapler halves and extending laterally relative to a longitudinal axis of the stapler. The stapler halves are configured to pivot relative to each other about the projection. The stapler further includes a locking member positioned on the other of the stapler halves. The locking member is configured to translate along the longitudinal axis of the stapler between a locked state in which the locking member selectively captures the projection and an unlocked state in which the locking member selectively releases the projection. The locking member is biased proximally toward the locked state.
(FR) La présente invention concerne une agrafeuse chirurgicale comprenant une première moitié d'agrafeuse comprenant une surface d'enclume ayant une pluralité de poches de formation d'agrafes, et une seconde moitié d'agrafeuse conçue pour s'accoupler de manière amovible avec la première moitié d'agrafeuse. La seconde moitié d'agrafeuse est conçue pour déployer des agrafes vers la surface d'enclume. L'agrafeuse comprend également une saillie positionnée sur l'une des moitiés d'agrafeuse et s'étendant latéralement par rapport à un axe longitudinal de l'agrafeuse. Les moitiés d'agrafeuse sont conçues pour pivoter l'une par rapport à l'autre autour de la saillie. L'agrafeuse comprend en outre un élément de verrouillage positionné sur l'autre des moitiés d'agrafeuse. L'élément de verrouillage est conçu pour se déplacer en translation le long de l'axe longitudinal de l'agrafeuse entre un état verrouillé dans lequel l'élément de verrouillage capture sélectivement la saillie et un état déverrouillé dans lequel l'élément de verrouillage libère sélectivement la saillie. L'élément de verrouillage est sollicité de manière proximale vers l'état verrouillé.
