Abstract
(EN) A fire suppression blends of CF3I and 2-BTP with mol ratios from 1:5 and 5:1 are capable of passing peak inerting and sub-inerting tests. The CF3I: 2-BTP fire suppression blends can also include carbon dioxide of up to 80% of the fire suppression blend to provide additional cooling.
(FR) L'invention concerne un mélange d'extinction d'incendie de CF3I et de 2-BTP avec des rapports molaires entre 1:5 et 5:1 capables de satisfaire à des essais d'inertage et de sous-inertage de pics. Les mélanges CF3I et 2-BTP d'extinction d'incendie peuvent également comprendre du dioxyde de carbone allant jusqu'à 80 % du mélange d'extinction d'incendie pour fournir un refroidissement supplémentaire.
