Abstract
(EN) Resins and formulations of individual monomers bearing both vinyl ester and epoxy functionality were either synthesized or formulated such that vinyl ester components capable of polymerizing by photo-induced, free radical polymerization were mixed with step-growth epoxy-amine systems, facilitating sequential cure. The vinyl ester component was photopolymerized using vat photopolymerization (VPP). Additionally, the preparation of bio-based photo curable thermosetting resins that have tailorable thermal and mechanical properties is provided. All monomers and polymers described herein are useful in a variety of applications, including additive manufacturing applications.
(FR) Des résines et des formulations de monomères individuels portant à la fois un ester vinylique et une fonctionnalité époxy ont été synthétisées ou formulées de telle sorte que les composants ester vinylique capables de se polymériser par polymérisation radicalaire libre photoinduite ont été mélangés avec des systèmes époxy-amine à croissance par étapes, ce qui facilite le durcissement séquentiel. Le composant ester vinylique a été photopolymérisé par photopolymérisation en cuve (VPP). De plus, l'invention concerne la préparation de résines thermodurcissables photodurcissables d'origine biologique qui présentent des propriétés thermiques et mécaniques modulables. Tous les monomères et polymères décrits ici sont utiles dans diverses applications, y compris des applications de fabrication additive.
