Abstract
(EN) Methods related to wireless communication systems and reducing peak-to-average-power ratio (PAPR) in MU-MIMO transmissions are provided. A base station (BS) generates a plurality of communication signals including data for a plurality of user equipment (UE) devices in a plurality of serving beam subspaces. The BS may also generate a peak-to-average-power ratio (PAPR) reduction signal for one or more of the plurality of communication signals. A first portion of the PAPR reduction signal is in a first serving beam subspace of the plurality of serving beam subspaces based on a first error vector magnitude (EVM) associated with a first UE of the plurality of UEs. A second portion of the PAPR reduction signal is in a non-serving beam subspace. The BS may also transmit, to the plurality of UEs, the plurality of communication signals and the PAPR reduction signal. Other features are also claimed and described.
(FR) L'invention concerne des procédés associés à des systèmes de communication sans fil et une réduction du rapport puissance crête sur puissance moyenne (PAPR) dans des transmissions MU-MIMO. Une station de base (BS) génère une pluralité de signaux de communication comprenant des données destinées à une pluralité de dispositifs d'équipement utilisateur (UE) dans une pluralité de sous-espaces de faisceau de desserte. La BS peut également générer un signal de réduction de rapport puissance crête sur puissance moyenne (PAPR) pour un ou plusieurs signaux de la pluralité de signaux de communication. Une première partie du signal de réduction du PAPR se situe dans un premier sous-espace de faisceau de desserte de la pluralité de sous-espaces de faisceau de desserte sur la base d'une première amplitude de vecteur d'erreur (EVM) associé à un premier UE de la pluralité d'UE. Une seconde partie du signal de réduction de PAPR se situe dans un sous-espace de faisceau non de desserte.
