Abstract
(EN) The present invention relates to a method for obtaining β-glucan from yeast cells, which involves: initially growing the yeast; autolysing the cells to obtain yeast cell walls; carrying out alkaline treatment of same with sodium hydroxide, which comprises retention periods; carrying out acid treatment of the obtained insoluble product; and collecting and handling same to obtain a powdered β-glucan-enriched product with less than 4% fat.
(ES) La presente invención se refiere a un proceso de obtención de β-glucano a partir de células de levadura, el cual involucra el crecimiento inicial de la levadura, la autolisis de dichas células para la obtención de paredes celulares de levadura, el tratamiento alcalino de estas con hidróxido de sodio que comprende periodos de retención, el tratamiento ácido del producto insoluble obtenido, y la recolección y manejo del mismo para la obtención de un producto en polvo enriquecido en β-glucano con un porcentaje inferior al 4% de grasa.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un procédé d'obtention de β-glucane à partir de cellules de levure, ce qui implique la croissance initiale de la levure, l'autolyse desdites cellules pour l'obtention de parois cellulaires de levure, le traitement alcalin de ces dernières avec de l'hydroxyde de sodium qui comprend des périodes de rétention, le traitement acide du produit insoluble obtenu et la récupération et la manipulation de ce dernier pour obtenir un produit en poudre enrichi en β-glucane ayant un pourcentage inférieur à 4% de matière grasse.
