Abstract
(EN) The disclosure herein pertains to a pressure regulation system for use in a silicon dominate anode lithium-ion cell. The pressure regulation system regulates a lifetime pressure on the lithium-ion cell in order to correct for capacity loss and mechanical failure due the expansion of silicon during operation. The pressure regulation system along with a housing maintains a certain pressure range on the lithium-ion cells during the cycling and the operational life of the energy storage device.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un système de régulation de pression destiné à être utilisé dans une pile au lithium-ion à anode dominante en silicium. Le système de régulation de pression régule une pression de durée de vie sur la pile au lithium-ion afin de corriger la perte de capacité et la défaillance mécanique dues à l'expansion du silicium pendant le fonctionnement. Le système de régulation de pression conjointement avec un boîtier maintient une certaine plage de pression sur les piles au lithium-ion pendant le cyclage et la durée de vie du dispositif de stockage d'énergie.
