Abstract
(EN) A system and a method for monitoring cognitive load of a driver of a vehicle. The system comprises: a set of sensors (104) for sensing one or more ocular features of the driver; a cognitive engine (102) operatively coupled to the set of sensors (104), the cognitive engine (102) comprising a processor (202) coupled to a memory (204), the memory (204) storing instructions executable by the processor (202) to: determine one or more parameters value from the sensed one or more ocular features; and determine one or more deviation states based on processing of the determined one or more parameters value to enable real-time monitoring of cognitive load of the driver. The system is robust, accurate, fast, efficient, cost-effective and simple.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un système et un procédé de surveillance de la charge cognitive d’un conducteur d’un véhicule. Le système comprend : un ensemble de capteurs (104) pour détecter une ou plusieurs caractéristiques oculaires du conducteur ; un moteur cognitif (102) fonctionnellement accouplé à l’ensemble de capteurs (104), le moteur cognitif (102) comprenant un processeur (202) accouplé à une mémoire (204), la mémoire (204) stockant des instructions pouvant être exécutées par le processeur (202) pour : déterminer une ou plusieurs valeurs de paramètres à partir desdites caractéristiques oculaires détectées ; et déterminer un ou plusieurs états de déviation sur la base du traitement d’une ou plusieurs valeurs de paramètres déterminées pour permettre la surveillance en temps réel de la charge cognitive du conducteur. Le système est robuste, précis, rapide, efficace, économique et simple.
