Abstract
(EN) A method of establishing a direct wireless communication link between a first device and a second device (the first device being designated as a sender and the second device being designated as a receiver) comprises: a proximity authentication operation that comprises determining, based on signals received by the first and second devices over one or more RF channels from a plurality of wireless access points, that the first device is proximate the second device; following the proximity authentication operation, a key generation operation that comprises: generating a shared secret by performing randomness extraction on respective signals received at the first and second devices over a selected channel of the one or more RF channels; and establishing the direct wireless communication link using the shared secret.
(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé d'établissement d'une liaison de communication sans fil directe entre un premier dispositif et un deuxième dispositif (le premier dispositif étant désigné comme émetteur et le deuxième dispositif étant désigné comme récepteur) comprenant : une opération d'authentification de proximité qui comprend la détermination, sur la base de signaux reçus par les premier et deuxième dispositifs par le biais d'un ou de plusieurs canaux RF en provenance d'une pluralité de points d'accès sans fil, que le premier dispositif se trouve à proximité du deuxième dispositif ; suite à l'opération d'authentification de proximité, une opération de génération de clé qui consiste à : générer un secret partagé en effectuant une extraction aléatoire sur des signaux respectifs reçus au niveau des premier et deuxième dispositifs sur un canal sélectionné parmi lesdits canaux RF ; et établir la liaison de communication sans fil directe en utilisant le secret partagé.
