Described are methods and systems for enhanced dissociation of cells from a solid biological tissue sample. In some embodiments, a self-contained cartridge apparatus includes a first chamber for receiving the tissue sample, enables ultrasonic energy from a transducer assembly of a processing unit to dissociate cells from the sample in the first chamber, and collect viable cells of interest from an aqueous suspension in a second chamber fluidly connected to the first chamber via a channel. In some embodiments, to enhance dissociation of viable cells, a filter device includes a tubular body configured to be telescopically inserted into a container containing the tissue sample in an aqueous fluid. The filter device also includes a cell-filter mesh that covers a bottom opening of the tubular body and that is configured to compress the tissue sample to expel cells from the sample when the filter device is fully inserted into the container.

L'invention concerne des procédés et des systèmes pour une dissociation améliorée de cellules contenues dans un échantillon de tissu biologique solide. Dans certains modes de réalisation, un appareil à cartouche autonome comprend une première chambre servant à recevoir l'échantillon de tissu, permet à l'énergie ultrasonore émanant d'un ensemble transducteur d'une unité de traitement de dissocier les cellules contenues dans l'échantillon dans la première chambre, et de collecter les cellules viables d'intérêt contenues dans une suspension aqueuse dans une seconde chambre en communication fluidique avec la première chambre par l'intermédiaire d'un canal. Dans certains modes de réalisation, pour améliorer la dissociation des cellules viables, un dispositif filtre comprend un corps tubulaire conçu pour être inséré de manière télescopique dans un récipient contenant l'échantillon de tissu dans un fluide aqueux. Le dispositif filtre comprend également une maille de filtre de cellules qui recouvre une ouverture inférieure du corps tubulaire et qui est conçue pour comprimer l'échantillon de tissu pour expulser les cellules de l'échantillon lorsque le dispositif filtre est inséré complètement dans le récipient.
