This invention relates to a distance measurement sensor, a signal processing method, and a distance measurement module that make it possible to detect whether an object under measurement is a transparent object of glass, or the like. The distance measurement sensor comprises a signal processing unit for using a signal obtained by a light reception unit for receiving emission light that has been emitted from a prescribed light emission source and reflected back from an object to calculate the distance to the object and the reliability and outputting a determination flag determining whether an object that is an object under measurement is a transparent object. This invention can be applied to, for example, a distance measurement module for measuring the distance to a subject.

La présente invention concerne un capteur de mesure de distance, un procédé de traitement de signal, et un module de mesure de distance qui permettent de détecter si un objet soumis à une mesure est un objet transparent, en verre ou similaire. Le capteur de mesure de distance comporte une unité de traitement de signal servant à utiliser un signal obtenu par une unité de réception de lumière servant à recevoir une lumière d’émission émanant d’une source d’émission lumineuse prescrite et réfléchie à partir d’un objet pour calculer la distance à l’objet et la fiabilité et à délivrer un fanion de détermination déterminant si un objet qui est soumis à la mesure est un objet transparent. La présente invention peut être appliquée, par exemple, à un module de mesure de distance destiné à mesurer la distance à un sujet.
