The subject matter described herein includes a method for extracting a desired metal from a substance. The method includes contacting the substance with an alkaline leach to separate the desired metal from the substance, providing ultrasound energy and anodic current on a work face of the substance, etching the substance with the alkaline leach, thereby releasing the desired metal from the substance, and collecting the released desired metal.

La présente invention concerne un procédé d'extraction d'un métal voulu à partir d'une substance. Le procédé consiste à : mettre en contact la substance avec une lixiviation alcaline pour séparer le métal voulu de la substance, fournir une énergie ultrasonore et un courant anodique sur une face de travail de la substance, attaquer la substance avec la lixiviation alcaline de sorte à libérer le métal voulu de la substance, et collecter le métal voulu libéré.
