The present invention provides an electroconductive paste which leaves little undissolved fine substance if dissolved into an organic solvent and is thus easily filtered, while having excellent printability and exhibiting excellent surface smoothness after printing. An electroconductive paste which is used for the purpose of forming an electrode of a multilayer ceramic capacitor, and which contains a polyvinyl acetal resin, an organic solvent and an electroconductive powder. With respect to this electroconductive paste, in the IR absorption spectrum of the polyvinyl acetal resin as determined by means of an infrared spectrophotometer, the peak wavenumber A (cm-1) within the wavenumber range of from 3,100 to 3,700 cm-1 and the amount (mol%) of hydroxyl groups satisfy formulae (1) and (2). (1): ((3,470 – A)/(amount of hydroxyl groups) ≤ 5.0 (2): (3,470 – A) ≤ 150 In the formulae, A represents a wavenumber on the side lower than 3,470 cm-1 among the wavenumbers showing a transmittance a (%) satisfying (100 – (100 – X)/2), where X (%) is the minimum transmittance at a peak within the wavenumber range of from 3,100 to 3,700 cm-1.

La présente invention concerne une pâte électroconductrice qui laisse peu de substance fine non dissoute si elle est dissoute dans un solvant organique et est ainsi facilement filtrée, tout en présentant une excellente aptitude à l'impression et en présentant un excellent lissé de surface après impression. Une pâte électroconductrice qui est utilisée dans le but de former une électrode d'un condensateur céramique multicouche, et qui contient une résine d'acétal de polyvinyle, un solvant organique et une poudre électroconductrice. En ce qui concerne cette pâte électroconductrice, dans le spectre d'absorption IR de la résine d'acétal de polyvinyle tel que déterminé au moyen d'un spectrophotomètre infrarouge, le pic d'onde A (cm-1) dans la plage de nombres d'ondes allant de 3 100 à 3 700 cm-1 et la quantité (% en moles) de groupes hydroxyle satisfont aux formules (1) et (2). (1) : ((3 470 - A)/(quantité de groupes hydroxyle) ≤ 5,0 (2) : (3 470 - A) ≤ 150 dans les formules, A représente un nombre d'ondes du côté inférieur à 3 470 cm-1 parmi les nombres d'ondes présentant une transmittance a (%) satisfaisant à (100 – (100 – X)/2), où X (%) est la transmittance minimale à un pic dans la plage de nombres d'ondes allant de 3 100 à 3 700 cm-1.
