The present invention provides a polyvinyl acetal resin: which leaves few fine undissolved substances when dissolved in an organic solvent; by which the productivity can be improved when used particularly as a binder for a ceramic green sheet; from which a ceramic green sheet having excellent toughness can be obtained; and with which a laminated ceramic capacitor having excellent reliability can be manufactured. The present invention is a polyvinyl acetal resin in which the wave number A (cm-1) of a peak within a wave number range of 3,100-3,700 cm-1 and the amount (mol%) of hydroxyl groups in the IR absorption spectrum measured by an infrared spectrophotometer satisfy the relationships of expressions (1) and (2). [(3470-A)/amount of hydroxyl groups]≤5.5 (1) (3470-A)≤185 (2) A is a wave number on a low wave number side less than 3,470 cm-1, among wave numbers exhibiting transmittance a (%) satisfying [100-(100-X/2)] when the minimum transmittance of a peak within a wave number range of 3,100-3,700 cm-1 is denoted by X (%).

La présente invention concerne une résine d'acétal de polyvinyle : qui laisse peu de fines substances non dissoutes lorsqu'elle est dissoute dans un solvant organique ; par laquelle la productivité peut être améliorée lorsqu'elle est utilisée en particulier en tant que liant pour une feuille de céramique crue ; à partir de laquelle une feuille de céramique crue ayant une excellente ténacité peut être obtenue ; et avec laquelle un condensateur céramique stratifié ayant une excellente fiabilité peut être fabriqué. La présente invention concerne une résine d'acétal de polyvinyle, dans laquelle le nombre d'ondes A (cm-1) d'un pic dans une plage de nombres d'onde de 3 100 à 3 700 cm-1 et la quantité (% en moles) de groupes hydroxyle dans le spectre d'absorption IR mesuré par un spectrophotomètre infrarouge satisfont les relations des expressions (1) et (2). [(3470-A)/quantité de groupes hydroxyle] ≤ 5,5 (1) (3470-A) ≤ 185 (2) A est un nombre d'ondes sur un côté à faible nombre d'ondes inférieur à 3 470 cm-1, parmi les nombres d'ondes présentant une transmittance a (%) satisfaisant [100-(100-X/2)] lorsque la transmittance minimale d'un pic dans une plage de nombres d'ondes de 3 100-3 700 cm-1 est désignée par X (%).
