The present invention relates to a method for producing a catalyst support used to produce a fibrous carbon nanostructure. This production method comprises: a stirring step for stirring a particulate support by rotating a substantially cylindrical rotary drum about the center axis thereof; a spraying step for spraying a catalyst solution onto the particulate support in the rotary drum; and a drying step for drying the catalyst solution attached to the particulate support by introducing a dry gas from the outside of the rotary drum into the rotary drum. In addition, in this production method, at least a portion of a time period in which the stirring step is performed overlaps with at least a portion of a time period in which the spraying step is performed.

La présente invention concerne un procédé de production d'un support de catalyseur utilisé pour produire une nanostructure fibreuse de carbone. Ce procédé de production comprend : une étape d'agitation pour agiter un support particulaire par rotation d'un tambour rotatif sensiblement cylindrique autour de l'axe central de celui-ci ; une étape de pulvérisation pour pulvériser une solution de catalyseur sur le support particulaire dans le tambour rotatif ; et une étape de séchage pour sécher la solution de catalyseur fixée au support particulaire par introduction d'un gaz sec depuis l'extérieur du tambour rotatif dans le tambour rotatif. De plus, dans ce procédé de production, au moins une partie d'une période de temps pendant laquelle l'étape d'agitation est effectuée, chevauche au moins une partie d'une période de temps pendant laquelle l'étape de pulvérisation est réalisée.

繊維状炭素ナノ構造体を製造する際に用いる触媒担持体を製造する触媒担持体の製造方法である。かかる製造方法は、略円筒状の回転ドラムを中心軸線周りに回転させることにより粒子状担体を攪拌する攪拌工程と、回転ドラム内の前記粒子状担体に対して、触媒溶液を噴霧する噴霧工程と、回転ドラム外から前記回転ドラム内に乾燥ガスを流入させ、粒子状担体に付着した触媒溶液を乾燥させる乾燥工程と、を含む。そして、かかる製造方法では、攪拌工程の実施期間の少なくとも一部と、前記噴霧工程の実施期間の少なくとも一部とが、重複する。
