This lead-acid battery is provided with a positive electrode plate, a negative electrode plate, and an electrolyte solution. The negative electrode plate comprises a negative electrode material. The negative electrode material comprises an organic shrinkproofing agent and a carbonaceous material. The organic shrinkproofing agent comprises a unit of a bisarene compound and a unit of a monocyclic aromatic compound having a hydroxy group. The unit of the bisphenol compound is at least one selected from the group consisting of a unit of a bisphenol S compound and a unit of a bisphenol A compound.

L'invention concerne une batterie au plomb-acide avec une plaque d'électrode positive, une plaque d'électrode négative et une solution d'électrolytique. La plaque d'électrode négative comprend un matériau d'électrode négative. Le matériau d'électrode négative comprend un agent de rétraction organique et un matériau carboné. L'agent de rétraction organique comprend une unité d'un composé de bisarène et une unité d'un composé aromatique monocyclique ayant un groupe hydroxy.
