This secondary battery comprises: an outer packaging body that accommodates an electrode body; an external terminal that is provided on the outer side of a sealing plate which seals an opening section of the outer packaging body; a connection member that is provided on the inner side of the sealing plate and that is connected to the external terminal; an insulation member that is provided between the sealing plate and the connection member; and a current collector that is disposed on the inner side of the sealing plate and connected to the connection member, and that is connected to a tab group consisting of a plurality of current collection tabs extending from the electrode body. In the tab group, at least some of the current collection tabs have a protruding portion that protrudes from the current collector in the longitudinal direction of the sealing plate, and the insulation member has an extension portion that extends at least between the protruding portions and the sealing plate along the longitudinal direction of the sealing plate.

Batterie secondaire comprenant : un corps de conditionnement extérieur qui accueille un corps d'électrode ; une borne externe qui est disposée sur le côté extérieur d'une plaque d'étanchéité qui scelle une section d'ouverture du corps de conditionnement extérieur ; un élément de liaison qui est disposé sur le côté intérieur de la plaque d'étanchéité et qui est relié à la borne externe ; un élément d'isolation qui est disposé entre la plaque d'étanchéité et l'élément de liaison ; et un collecteur de courant qui est disposé sur le côté intérieur de la plaque d'étanchéité et relié à l'élément de liaison, et qui est relié à un groupe de languettes constitué d'une pluralité de languettes de collecte de courant s'étendant à partir du corps d'électrode.
