This information processing device is provided with: a plurality of stereo cameras disposed such that the directions of base-line lengths thereof intersect; a depth estimation unit that estimates, from captured images captured by the plurality of stereo cameras, a depth of an object included in the captured images; and an object detection unit that detects the object on the basis of the depth estimated by the depth estimation unit and reliability of the depth which is determined in accordance with an angle of the direction of an edge line of the object to the directions of the base-line lengths of the plurality of stereo cameras.

Dispositif de traitement d'informations comprenant : une pluralité de caméras stéréo disposées de telle sorte que les directions de longueurs de ligne de base de celles-ci se croisent; une unité d'estimation de profondeur qui estime, à partir d'images capturées, capturées par la pluralité de caméras stéréo, une profondeur d'un objet inclus dans les images capturées; et une unité de détection d'objet qui détecte l'objet sur la base de la profondeur estimée par l'unité d'estimation de profondeur et de la fiabilité de la profondeur qui est déterminée conformément à un angle de la direction d'une ligne de bord de l'objet vers les directions des longueurs de ligne de base de la pluralité de caméras stéréo.
