Provided are a wireless communication device and a wireless communication method that can improve the directivity of an antenna in a desired direction at a low cost. According to an embodiment, a wireless communication device (1) is provided with: a printed circuit board (10) having a substrate surface (11); a plate-shaped ground plane (20) that is disposed on the substrate surface (11), connected to the ground potential, and parallel to the substrate surface (11); a nondirectional antenna (30) that is disposed alongside the ground plane (20) on the substrate surface (11) in one in-plane direction parallel to the substrate surface (11), and radiates radio waves by being supplied with electric power; and a parasitic antenna (40) that is disposed apart from the ground plane (20) in a direction orthogonal to the substrate surface (11), and resonates with the nondirectional antenna (30) being supplied with electric power.

L'invention concerne un dispositif de communication sans fil et un procédé de communication sans fil qui permettent d'améliorer la directivité d'une antenne dans une direction souhaitée à un faible coût. Selon un mode de réalisation, le dispositif de communication sans fil (1) comprend : une carte de circuit imprimé (10) ayant une surface de substrat (11) ; un plan de sol en forme de plaque (20) qui est disposé sur la surface du substrat (11), relié au potentiel de masse, et parallèle à la surface du substrat (11) ; une antenne non directionnelle (30) qui est disposée le long du plan de sol (20) sur la surface du substrat (11) dans une direction dans le plan parallèle à la surface du substrat (11), et émet des ondes radio par alimentation en énergie électrique ; et une antenne passive (40) qui est disposée à distance du plan de sol (20) dans une direction orthogonale à la surface de substrat (11), et résonne avec l'antenne non directionnelle (30) qui est alimentée en énergie électrique.
