Provided is an air purifier that efficiently brings air into contact with a photocatalyst. An air purifier according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: a light source; a catalytic member comprising a mesh-shaped support formed into a cylindrical shape and a photocatalyst supported on the surface of the support, the catalytic member being disposed to the outside of the light source with a space therebetween; a reflector tube, disposed to the outside of the catalytic member with a space therebetween, for reflecting light that has been emitted by the light source and has passed through the catalytic member; and a centrifugal air blower comprising an impeller that rotates substantially coaxial to the reflector tube, and a housing that is connected to one end of the reflector tube and in which an intake port has been formed.

Un purificateur d'air qui amène efficacement l'air à entrer en contact avec un photocatalyseur est fourni. Un purificateur d'air selon un mode de réalisation de la présente invention comprend : une source de lumière ; un élément catalytique comprenant un support en forme de maille formé sous une forme cylindrique et un photocatalyseur supporté sur la surface du support, l'élément catalytique étant disposé à l'extérieur de la source de lumière avec un espace entre eux ; un tube réflecteur, disposé à l'extérieur de l'élément catalytique avec un espace entre eux, pour réfléchir la lumière qui a été émise par la source de lumière et a traversé l'élément catalytique ; et une soufflante d'air centrifuge comprenant une hélice qui tourne sensiblement coaxiale au tube réflecteur, et un boîtier qui est relié à une extrémité du tube réflecteur et dans lequel un orifice d'admission a été formé.
