A method is disclosed to operate a wireless device configured for communication with a wireless network using first and second sets of cells. The first set of cells is associated with a first inactivity timer duration, the second set of cells is associated with a second inactivity timer duration, and the first and second inactivity timer durations are different. A scheduling grant is received (1405, 1605, 1805, 2005) for a cell of the second set of cells using a cell of the first set of cells. Responsive to receiving the scheduling grant, the cell of the first set of cells is monitored (1409, 1609, 1809, 2009) for subsequent grants for the cell of the second set of cells for a period following the scheduling grant defined by the first inactivity timer duration or defined by the second inactivity timer duration. Related wireless devices are also discussed.

Un procédé destiné à faire fonctionner un dispositif sans fil est divulgué, configuré pour une communication avec un réseau sans fil au moyen de premier et second ensembles de cellules. Le premier ensemble de cellules est associé à une première durée de temporisateur d'inactivité, le second ensemble de cellules est associé à une seconde durée de temporisateur d'inactivité, et les première et seconde durées de temporisateur d'inactivité sont différentes. Une autorisation de planification est reçue (1405, 1605, 1805, 2005) pour une cellule du second ensemble de cellules au moyen d'une cellule du premier ensemble de cellules. En réponse à la réception de l'autorisation de planification, la cellule du premier ensemble de cellules est surveillée (1409, 1609, 1809, 2009) pour des autorisations ultérieures pour la cellule du second ensemble de cellules pendant une période suivant l'autorisation de planification définie par la première durée de temporisateur d'inactivité ou définie par la seconde durée de temporisateur d'inactivité. Des dispositifs sans fil associés sont également abordés.
