The light reception integrating unit (6) generates integrated light reception information obtained by integrating at least some of the pieces of information obtained from the light reception information, on a time axis on which light emission timings are matched over a plurality of light emissions. The distance calculating unit (8) removes or identifies a distance noise resulting from the pulse light other than the emitted light on the basis of the specified range extracted by the characteristics setting unit, and calculates a distance to an object having reflected the emitted light.
