The present invention relates to a package comprising a bi-directionally oriented polyethylene film, wherein the bi-directionally oriented film comprises a polymer having moieties derived from ethylene and moieties derived from 1-hexene, wherein the polymer has: (a) a density of ≥ 910 and ≤ 930 kg/m3, preferably ≥ 916 and ≤ 925 kg/m3, as determined in accordance with ASTM D792 (2008); (b) a melt mass-flow rate of ≥ 0.2, preferably ≥ 0.5 or ≥ 0.6, and ≤ 5.0 g/10 min, as determined in accordance with ASTM D1238 (2013) at a temperature of 190°C under a load of 2.16 kg; (c) a fraction that is eluted in analytical temperature rising elution fractionation (a-TREF) at a temperature ≤30.0°C of ≥ 8.0 wt%, preferably ≥ 11.0 wt%, with regard to the total weight of the polymer; and (d) a fraction eluted in a-TREF at a temperature > 94.0°C of ≥ 20.0 wt%, with regard to the total weight of the polymer; and preferably (e) a fraction eluted in a-TREF at a temperature >30.0°C and ≤ 94.0°C of ≥ 40.0 and ≤ 64.0 wt%, with regard to the total weight of the polymer; wherein the package is a bag or pouch containing at least one seal obtained by thermal sealing of two layers of the polyethylene film. Such package allows for handling, in particular opening, in a controlled way such that when a tear is introduced to open the package, that tear can be introduced in a controlled line.

La présente invention concerne un emballage comprenant un film de polyéthylène à orientation bidirectionnelle, le film à orientation bidirectionnelle comprenant un polymère contenant des fractions dérivées de l'éthylène et des fractions dérivées du 1-hexène, le polymère présentant : (a) une densité ≥ 910 et ≤ 930 kg/m3, de préférence ≥ 916 et ≤ 925 kg/m3, déterminée conformément à l'ASTM D792 (2008) ; (b) un débit massique à chaud ≥ 0,2, de préférence ≥ 0,5 ou ≥ 0,6, et ≤ 5,0 g/10 min, déterminé conformément à l'ASTM D1238 (2013) à une température de 190 °C sous une charge de 2,16 kg ; (c) une fraction qui est éluée dans un fractionnement d'élution à élévation de température analytique (a-TREF) à une température ≤ 30,0 °C de ≥ 8,0 % en poids, de préférence ≥ 11,0 % en poids, par rapport au poids total du polymère ; et (d) une fraction éluée dans un a-TREF à une température > 94,0 °C ≥ 20,0 % en poids, par rapport au poids total du polymère ; et de préférence (e) une fraction éluée dans un a-TREF à une température > 30,0 °C et ≤ 94,0 °C ≥ 40,0 et ≤ 64,0 % en poids, par rapport au poids total du polymère ; l'emballage étant un sac ou un pochon contenant au moins un joint d'étanchéité obtenu par thermoscellage de deux couches du film de polyéthylène. Un tel emballage permet d'assurer la manipulation, en particulier l'ouverture, de manière régulée de façon à ce que lorsqu'une déchirure est introduite pour ouvrir l'emballage, cette déchirure peut être introduite dans une ligne régulée.
